This week was a good week for me and my group we was doing some planning today, this planning was involving the shooting schedule, this means that we had to plan each shot for example the location on where we are filming our music video, the type of shot as there are a variety of shots that we can use our music video to portray certain signs, for example we are using a lot of two shots in our music video this states that there is a close relationship between the couples casting in our music video. We have to also plan for the camera movement that we will use in our rap and RnB genre that we have chosen. This music video will last at least 3 minutes the fact that we also had to introduce the music video this means that the video will introduce the characters before the music begins this is something we had to plan for on the shooting schedule. In addition to this we need to plan for the duration of the music video this means that we need to plan for how much seconds an shot is going to be because in existing music videos shots are usually changing to entertain and surprise the audience whether its an RnB music video of an Rock the change between shots need have had at least 100 to get the audience engaged with watching the music video.
We also had to state the characters that are going to be where on which shot. Lastly my group and I stated what is going to happen in each shot doing this gives people a brief breakdown on what might happen in the music video. the key concept we are focusing on is the narrative of the story how we will like to set it out and what we want where which makes this music video unique to the rest of the music video out there, the fact that we have to take care planning out each shot shows that we breaking down what we would like to come to of this music video, what we might change and what we want to achieve whether it is a narrative video or performance video planning needs to be in consideration.
